First of all, thank you very much for dropping by my page!
I’m a girl who likes to live in a simple way and love in a generous manner. I dare to dream and I tend to constantly move forward to pursue what I want or what I care in life.
I love to draw with charcoal and paint with oil. They have become one of the most important parts of my life which I could hardly live without. People who see my work thought I must have taken an academic degree in Art stream but in fact I was graduated with First Class degree honours from Engineering school. I have never received or attended any advanced art training or education except an introductory workshop to oil painting held by My Art Space in Singapore. That was the first time where I was introduced to the oil painting tools, and inclusive steps and procedures to handle the media. And, it was also the moment I began to fall in love with oil painting.
I like mostly the classical oil painting and art rather than the modern art. I do a lot of research and learn the variety of skills and techniques on my own from demos and the books recommended by the master artists.
Richard Schmid, Daniel Keys, Michael Klein, Anna Rose Bain, Casey Baugh, Jeremy Lipking, Chien Chung Wei, John Singer Sargent, Andrew Loomis, Arthur L. Guptill and many others have been influences. My painting style collaborates with classical and direct painting approaches, which allow me the great privilege of self-expression while still retaining the true essence.
This area is where I share my finished work in oil painting, the journal of my self-learning adventure on other painting media, and also some precious memory-recording of my life, thoughts and everything that could share with the world.
If you like my drawings or paintings and hope to see more, feel free to flip on the tabs in the menu above.
If in any way you have been touched or impressed by my work and would like to be in touch with me, I would love to hear from you.
Enjoy and Au Revoir!
